While sitting at the memorial for a young family member, Heather Britt found herself contemplating what remains after we are gone. Every interaction we have ripples through our lives, influencing the way we see other people, and how we treat one another. When Britt began choreographing Karass for Cincinnati Ballet’s The Kaplan New Works Series, this thought became the driving force behind her work. In this interview, she describes the unique challenge of expressing that dynamic through dance.
