Thousands of third graders descend on Washington Park in Cincinnati every year to perform a giant group dance. You rarely see so many smiling kids in one spot, and Cincinnati Ballet makes a big community impact through this initiative. So it’s a win-win, and a ton of fun to shoot.

When I was started working on this project, I thought "certainly these kids are practicing before the big day right?" Of course they were. So I took the opportunity to get a little deeper into the content and went to visit one of the in-school breakdown sessions.
